Our team, your support
At Maida Vale Retirement Village, our dedicated team works together to create a safe, friendly, and supportive environment. From day-to-day assistance to meaningful connections, we’re here to make sure every resident feels valued, respected, and well cared for.

Pat & Ed Wynd
A local Taranaki couple, Pat and Ed, began their journey in 2000 to create what is now Maida Vale. With Pat’s caregiving experience since 1984 and Ed’s background in construction, they have supported the community through affordable housing and aged care services. Their dedication has earned multiple awards and accreditations, and they continue to develop projects to expand aged care in the future.

Tony Wynd
As a member of the Wynd family, Tony is a Director of the company. He also serves as the site manager, overseeing construction and maintenance across the village. With over 20 years of experience, he is dedicated to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents.

Karla Wynd
As a member of the Wynd family, Karla brings 39 years of experience in aged care sector. My parents have always been my inspiration to continue to improve the quality service that we deliver in our family business, by applying my wealth of knowledge in the industry, to support and grow the business. The Village members love Maida Vale's family vibe and also know that we have an open-door policy, should they have any concerns or questions. We are one big happy family here at Maida Vale
